Frontpage Magazine’s coverage and analysis of events has been greatly enhanced by Center board member Dr. Robert Shillman whose generosity has allowed us to create the Shillman Fellows In Journalism program. This program presently supports the work of four fellows, including Daniel Greenfield, who edits and writes “The Point,” and Mark Tapson, who is the editor-in-chief of Truth Revolt.
Mark Tapson is a Shillman Journalism Fellow at the David Horowitz Freedom Center, where he focuses on the politics of popular culture. He is a longtime regular contributor to FrontPage Magazine and wrote the Freedom Center pamphlet Obama’s 1984. In addition, he is a staff writer for Acculturated, an online magazine about the vices and virtues of pop culture. His writing has also appeared at The Federalist, PJ Media, The New Criterion, Big Hollywood, and Townhall, among other places. He has made television appearances on CNN, Glenn Beck and elsewhere, as well as many radio and public appearances.
In the screenwriting arena, Mark began as the writer’s assistant on the controversial miniseries “The Path to 9/11.” Since then he has written for numerous movie projects including co-writing the award-winning documentary Jihad in America: The Grand Deception for Steven Emerson’s Investigative Project on Terrorism. He is currently adapting two books for the big screen and writing a book of his own for Templeton Press.
Raymond Ibrahim is a Judith Friedman Rosen Writing Fellow at the Middle East Forum and a CBN News contributor. He is the author of Crucified Again: Exposing Islam’s New War on Christians (2013) and The Al Qaeda Reader (2007).
Bruce Thornton is a Research Fellow at Stanford's Hoover Institution, and a Professor of Classics and Humanities at the California State University. He is the author of nine books and numerous essays on classical culture and its influence on Western Civilization. His most recent book, Democracy's Dangers and Discontents (Hoover Institution Press), is now available for purchase.
